Short-Term Rehabilitation
St. John's Mercy Skilled Nursing Center provides many services for patients needing short-term rehabilitation and nursing care following hospitalization. Our rehabilitation services include physical, occupational and speech therapy as well as respiratory services. Nurses, social workers, registered dietitians and activity therapists are also part of the care team. This interdisciplinary approach helps patients to attain and maintain their highest practical level of functioning and enhances quality of life. The primary goal is to return patients to their home or previous living arrangement.

Long-Term Care
St. John's Mercy Skilled Nursing Center also provides 24-hour nursing care for residents that choose to live here or call this their home, either on a temporary or permanent basis. This care may include support services for those individuals who need assistance with all activities of daily living. Respite, palliative and hospice care is also available. Each room is furnished, however residents may also bring in family belongings or additional furniture.

Each resident is assigned to their own care plan team, including:

• 24-hour nursing care, skilled care as well as custodial care, with a receptionist on duty from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m daily.
