As a doctor, I want to provide patients and their families with the tools of advanced cardiovascular medicine in a warm andcaring way that addresses all of their needs and concerns. The best thing about being a doctor is seeing people smile after I’ve intervened in their lives in a positive way.”

Dr. Jennifer Scheer
“I knew I wanted to be a doctor after my sister was injured in a barn accident when we were kids. I remember being so relieved that my parents were taking her to the hospital so that doctors could take care of her, and they did. I knew right then that I wanted to give other people that same sense of relief; that knowledge that someone you love is getting the best care possible. As a doctor with St. John’s Mercy, I appreciate being part of a team that delivers the best medical care available anywhere in the world right here, close to home.”
